New cookware range on selected courses

Posted on the 23rd August 2018

The Vegetarian Society Cookery School is delighted to announce we are using Ghisanativa cookware on selected courses.

Famous in their native Italy for long-lasting and professional cooking tools, Ghisanativa have provided smooth hotplates and grill plates for use on two of our popular courses: The Junk Food Vegan, and The BBQ Veggie.

We were excited to try the cookware, and we were pleased when they helped to create that perfectly ‘griddled’ look on the amazing veggie dishes.

Ghisanativa, which translates as Pure Cast Iron, uses traditional methods of cast-iron cooking to dry cook without adding oil or liquids. The pans worked a treat on these veggie kebabs crafted by our students:

Ghisanativa also has their whole cookware range accredited with the Vegetarian Society Approved vegan trademark, and you can view the full range on our website.
