If you have considered going vegan but struggled with the idea of giving up some of your favourite dishes, this is the course for you. Learn how to make luscious cheesy sauces from tofu, nutritional yeast flakes and soya milk! Create a sweet vegan cream using cashew nuts! Tackle dishes such as Georgia Casserole, Quesadillas , Thai Green Curry and some fabulous vegan cupcakes then enjoy it all for your lunch.
This workshop is not about eating fake meat or fake cheese – it’s about learning recipes and techniques that will add depth and flavour and extend your vegan repertoire. You'll learn about some of the less familiar ingredients - nut milks, egg replacements, tempeh and know the store-cupboard essentials for the vegan kitchen.
The workshop is also a good starting point for catering professionals wishing to introduce plant-based choices to menus.
