Table for Two Workshop
This enjoyable days starts at 1.00pm. Our tutor will show you a demonstration of the meal and then guide you through the practical task of creating it. Your guest is invited to join us later at 6.30pm for dinner at your table for two in our luxurious dining room.

Course details

A maximum of eight students with one guest each creates an intimate dining experience. Arrival time for the cook is 12.45pm with their guest arriving at 6.30pm for 7.00pm meal. Groups of friends or family who book the same course can either be accommodated at a single table dining together or in pairs.

Schedule for Table for Two
12.45pm - Registration and coffee for the person cooking
1.00 pm - Course commences with teaching/demonstrations
2.00pm to 6.00pm - Students cookery workshop
6.30pm - Student's guest arrives for drinks in the lounge
7.00pm - You will serve your guest the starter at 7pm approx. and then join them, with ½ an hour between courses
9.30pm - Approximate finish time after the evening meal

Breaks will be advised by the tutor on the day and may vary due to the nature of the course and number of participants.

PLEASE NOTE: Menus are not set for this event until closer to the day. If you or your partner have previously attended a Table for Two event please email first to check that the menu is different to avoid disappointment on the day.
Cook a three course gourmet dinner for two, and enjoy the fruits of your labour in the company of your favourite person!

This is where I learned to cook - so no pressure then! Unforgettable day. Increased my repertoire by a starter, a main course and a dessert! Not bad when you consider that before the course I could barely cook a tin of soup! I've got the bug now. Rob from Carlisle.
